Are you remembering what we talked about at the first class?
We talked about our goals and hope that we want to achieve before kicket the bucket.
I want to leave some tracks of that I thought at the first class in this summer.
These are what I want to do before kicket the bucket.
1.Seeing the Wimbledon final match!! At the most expensive seat!!I mentioned about tennis in class which is my favorite sport. I can release my stress by playing tennis, and it also helps me to make friends by playing together. It is why I like tennis; I have played it for 10years. As I become older, I’m not satisfied just for playing, I started to get interest to see pro tennis player’s match through TV. I saw Wimbledon through internet, but it is hard to see in real. Because of its expensive fee and location problem; Major world tennis competitions are held at the England, USA, Australia, and France. However I set my goal for seeing Wimbledon final match at the most expensive seat. Wimbledon has biggest authority among the other world tennis competition. All of the players have to wear white color clothes, and it held on the classic grass court. I’ll abbreviate longer explanation in this blog, but you can find more information about Wimbledon world tennis competition in its homepage.
According to my examination, at the 2010 match, the most expensive seat ticket fee was £104 = $164.32. It’s not that expensive, but when I think about tour expense, it was not cheap.
One of the Wimbledon tour site(http://wimbledon-experience.com/default.asp?contentID=673) let me know the Wimbledon final match tour price, and it was about £4485 = $7086.3.
I think I should have to work hard, after get a job.
2. Going to the Italy Duomo, Firenze with my wife
This place is shown at movie ‘Between Calm And Passion’
I had seen this at the army by book, for my first time. After finish my army duty, the movie was released and I saw it. The ‘Duomo’ is the place that many lovers promise their everlasting love to each other in the movie. It was very romantic, so I couldn’t forget that scene. For this reason, I decide to go that place with my future wife.
I think my future wife would be very happy woman. How you think about it? : )
3. Happy sharing life
After I get my job, and make romantic memory with my wife, I want to share my happiness with other people, I’m Christian. However, I’ll never write any religious sentences.
Not only is sharing life appropriate for my religion, but it also the happiest life. It is just my opinion, but there are opportunities make my opinion like this way. I read about Mother Teresa’s life through the book which name is “Finding Calcutta” It was written by Mary Poplin. I strongly suggest this book to you! It let us know how Mather Teresa helped other poor child in Kolkata (original name was Calcutta). I think the way people feel after read this book is depend on the person. However, in my case, I finish this book at the airplane which was going to the JFK Airport, I believed that the way of Mather Teresa’s life would be the life that I have to admire. I can’t post the book’s content, but I’ll link some information of Mather Teresa for people who have no idea about her.

ReplyDeleteI am the first one:) Your blog was very interesting; Wimbledon, the movie Between Calm and Passion, and Mother Teresa. When I was in elementary school, I also played tennis for a while.Unfortunately I did not continue on that but I wish I played it. About between calm and passion; I went to link that u gave us and found out that it is a Japan movie. If i have come across with that movie I would like to watch it. By the way, there is no doubt about Italy of course romantic country, If i go Italy I would like to visit there also. Lastly, I had known Mother Teresa but not too much with your writing and link that you gave us I found out much more.

I am glad to hear that you really enjoy palying tennis and have gained great benefits from that.I have an impulse to learn that after reading your post! No wonder there are so many people playing tennis these days. I think it requirs great strength both physically and mentally.

Sharing life is a good thing to do. Mather Teresa is really a good person who not only bring happiness to others but also engourage more people to share their life. Maybe she will the person you admir the most on your oral presentation!
I think I have similar goal as you do, but mine is easier to access. I want to buy the most expensive seat in Jay Chou’s concert in order to get closed to him. I could spend $166 to see him. The place is still in Taiwan, so you can tell how easy is. Hope you can arrive your goal as soon as possible.
ReplyDeleteYou experienced, learned, and discovered yourself a lot during the time of serving army. I have never seen this film. I will take a chance to see how romantic it is.
When I stayed in NYC, I went to the Madame Tussauds, which is placed wax statues of celebrities. You will be surprised that why there is no Mather Teresa’s wax statue. Because she did not think she is celebrity, she rejected to have a statue of her.

Hi, JinWoo. I like your plans especially sharing your happy with other people. Someone said if you share your sadness with others, your sadness will be reduced, and if you share your happyness with others, it will be doubled. Mother Teresa influence many people to perform good behavior. I think she teach about god to others by her life. How great life it is.

ReplyDeleteSome really nice and interesting ideas on the activities you would like to do before kicking the bucket. I've been to Florence, but it was not a romantic trip. In other words, I went with my sister. It was a wonderful experience. There are beautiful bridges, plazas and the Medici Palace. My husband and I have never been to Italy together, so that is a dream I have before kicking the bucket--to travel there with him. I think you will attain these goals if you put your mind to it, and you seem determined enough!
Just a grammar note: remember after prepositions like "before" we use a noun or gerund, so it is best to say "Before kicking the bucket" in the title to your blog post.

ReplyDeleteIt seems everyone is interested in Europe, but most people who have been there tend to feel more disappointed. Such a funny phenomena that reminds me of a situation called"encircle a city" which means inners want to get out, and the outers want to get in. Anyway, I think I will still go there because surely I am the group of people who never been there. Grand architechture, the capital of fashion, gentlemans, cultures,etc, all the things are strongly attracting me. However, It's glad to know you have such a nice idea and I wish you can come ture your dream.

1. Tennis is a good sports even I have just tried to learn it. I believe Wimbledon could be a very good competition to be watched. However, I would choose sit in my room and turn on the TV, get some ice-cold beer and some delicious food from fridge and watch game on the TV!
2. There's no doubt that Italy Duomo is a good place to go in the future. I hope you can find a good wife as your wish!
3. Truly indeed, everyone has different life attitude, and I appreciate yours. I also think Teresa's story is very impressive.
